I still think it will get picked up.

Right now, it will be shown on ESPN360.com, according to the Game Notes (PDF) press release.

Here’s the list of broadband providers that have an agreement with ESPN360.com.

If this stays untelevised, it’s just plain humiliating for the Big East.

If this is the case then we should demand the game on TV. What else will the Big East do add St Joe’s and get rid of USF. Im sick of this league, and how its runned. There’s not enough football teams and too many basketball teams. I heard last week on a espn radio show that the Big Ten wants to expand east, and PITT, along with Syracuse are the two being considered to join. I dont know about you but we should join if the opprutunity areis. We got screwed the most when Miami,VA Tech, and BC left. If the Big East doenst either add two more football teams, or start putting games more on national TV Staurdays (instead of Friday night) then we should leave. Also to as much as I like the basketball conference I hate to say this but nobody from this conference will ever win a national championship. You know why? Because there’s too many teams, and everybody gets burned out when they get to the tourney. They need to consider getting rid of teams like DEpaul, Marquette, and Seton Hall, only to add East Carolina, which gives you antoher football team, with basketballl. It just fursetrates me knowing that this conference has come along way but still this crap goes on!

agreed. if the conference doesn’t do something to improve the football side of things and the big eleven comes calling pitt needs to bail on the big least.

i dont have a problem if its not on tv. would you rather have a 12:00 kick off to be on tv. i wouldnt, i like the 3:30 ko, and pitt fans should come to the game instead of relying it to be on tv. i am aware not everybody can go to the game, but pitt should be able to get 55,000 + at this game if the weather is nice.

I’ll be there, but I’ll still be pissed if this game isn’t televised. Yeah, all Pitt fans think that they should fill Heinz for every game. Reality is that there has been nothing to get excited about for the 15 years that I have been going to games. You have to excite people about the team before they will start showing up. Pitt doesn’t understand that. When the Pens sucked, they didn’t quit showing games on tv. The excitement started because they kept them on tv and then they got better. People got excited, then they started showing up to games. It doesn’t work the other way around. All it does is make the borderline fan lose interest because they can’t make the commitment to get season tickets and then they can never watch them on tv.

This all goes back to Joe the Antichrist driving a stake into the heart of Eastern Football by his unholy marriage with the Big 10. Pennsylvania is a lot of things…but part of the midwest it aint. Unfortunately, without Syracuse, BC, and yes…it galls me to say it…PSU…there is no eastern football worthy of the name and old rivalries.
