It’s under way.

I’ll get back to this later. Just wanted to give the links.

This despite not having a single player selected for the 11-player (huh?) pre-season All-Big East team. Levance Fields only merited honorable mention

Jeff Adrien on the All BE team? How much did Calhoun whine to get him in there?

You broke your site again for IE users. The video clip from youtube of Aaron Gray doesn’t show up and nothing after that shows up either. I emailed the offending code.

Doesn’t anyone in the Big East media ioffices realize how retarded it is to have 10 players on the Big East Pre-season team? Why not just have a couple from each team, like they do for the MLB All-star game? Why ten? Why not 32? After you go past 5, it becomes assinine.

Two things: First, our schedule is kind of interesting. We get the top two teams at home with LU and GU. But to make up for it, we have to play the 3,4,5, and 6th best teams (obviously not including ourselves) on the road. I think we’d be better off with the schedule flipped – better to lose 2 on the road, and have a better shot at 4 at home, then have a good chance of losing all 6. And how come we can’t get a home and home with UConn, EVER?

The other thing: How come everyone hates ND? They finished fourth in our league last year, and return 3 of their starters – yet they’re picked 9th? I hate ND as much as the next Pitt fan, but it seems a little low. I expected them to be right up there with Pitt, SU, and Uconn.

I got my season tickets in the mail today – if anyone wants any of the games before OSU, they’re section 115, two-thirds way back, $100 pair for any game. Just post and i’ll figure a way out for us to get in contact…

what a non-conference schedule: several good tournament teams at home(ST. LOUIS, MISS VALLEY ST, BOSTON, TOLEDO) then RIGHT BEFORE THE BIG EAST STARTS: OKLA ST, DUKE(at the Garden)and Dayton on the road.

[…] He still tabs Pitt for 4th in the conference, so Goodman clearly likes the top teams in the Big East on a national level. 4th in the conference, of course, was also what the Big East Coaches thought. “It doesn’t mean anything to us as far as how we are going to play,” coach Jamie Dixon said.
