LiveBlog: Eastern Shore-Pitt

I am guessing the students disagree, but I am very grateful for Finals week at Pitt. It’s meant a week with no basketball games. Given the Pitt football saga of the week, that has been a good thing.

So the game is on FoxSports-Pittsburgh, MASN, ESPN3.com and ESPN FullCourt package starting at 7pm.

New Pitt football HC Mike Haywood will be there before the game doing the meet-and-greet. I expect that he will stop by the broadcast booth since that is standard PR.

Assuming a blowout, I will be willing to talk about the hiring of Haywood in the second half.

It is a moderated chat, so always keep that in mind.

The liveblog is below. As usual, you can break the chat out from the site by Clicking Here if you need to.

On facebook, Pitt posted footage of some fans greeting Coach Haywood before the game.

One guy appeared to give him a Christmas card, lol.

Pardon my tardiness, but this time of year ck=lergy haveto work more than one hour a week. Ha! Actually, I’m writing to thank wbb for his,as usual, astute remarks. Again we seem to be on the same page. I’m beginning to wonder if some of those vile, nasty blogs about Pitt’s coaching staff(former staff) were purposely placed by “enemy agents. It is encouraging that many Pitt Bloggers can and do express themselves in a civilized manner. Rev. George
