Maybe Running Back. Maybe Safety. Maybe Outside Linebacker. Your guess is as good as mine. Okay, running back seems unlikely considering the talent already backing-up behind McCoy.

So, welcome the presumable sleeper recruit in Kevin Adams. A kid who seems to have talent but no one position.  A 2- to 3- star recruit from New Jersey. A kid who plays both sides of the ball and probably could stand to be kept at one position.

what a useless post. we have a recruit for next year that may play at a position yet to be determined. geez…

“What an informative post. We have a recruit for next year that will add depth to the team. Sweet!”

There, Oakland_Cloud_Factory, I fixed your useless comment.

Redshirt him for a year, have him bulk up, and then determine if he’s an RB, safety or LB. During the Jimmy Johnson days (with Wanny) this was the model of success at Miami (loads of high school running backs who ended up at safety or LB in college).

Hail to PITT!

Agreed, Oregon. Doesn’t the most athletic kid on most H.S. teams play running back?

BTW, Oakland_Cloud_Factory, piss off. Don’t come here if you don’t like it.

Also concur on the philosophy of stockpiling running backs as athletes and finding positions for some of them later. It seems like this was the logic behind the development of Greg Williams and to a lesser extent Antuan Reed.

Agreed. Can’t have enough RB’s. They translate well to other positions. I don’t see this kid as a RB though, too slow.

Kinda early to speculate I would think. The kid still needs to play his senior year of high school…..then a redshirt. Then he competes where there is a need or he is best suited for.

That is easily 3 years away.
