I’m intune with USC basketball program, and I’ve never heard Potosnak discussed as a highly notable assistant. Odom’s program is a complete joke at this point, and they’re getting killed in recruiting by Clemson, CofC, and Winthrop (even Costal Carolina is making strides against them!). Hence, you’d have to wonder about his ability to bring in kids to the program. However, over the past few years they’ve had some pretty talented guys, Renaldo Balkman and Tre Kelly (probably the best player you’ve never heard of), but these guys were not developed at all while at USC. Balkman has proven to be a legit NBA player with the Knicks, and the best they could muster with both Balkman and Kelly were 2 NIT championships… I just don’t have much confidence in what Potosnak could possibly be contributing, and I’m not sure what value he’d have for us at Pitt.

Look it’s spring, can we talk football already, I realize this is your site, but come on the last two weeks have been primarily basketball, I haven’t heard one story on new possible recruits in close to a month…thanks

Marco you might want to work on being a little more polite on your requests while on this site that Chas is gracious enough to provide us with.

Being rude and then throwing in a disingenuous “…thanks” at the end isn’t gonna work.

If you’re looking for us to fully replace Dokish…well he has many more connections than we do and he focused his blog mainly on recruiting while we tend to branch out a bit more.

I agree recruiting news sucks, when Pitt Football starts winning some games, then maybe I’ll be able to get excited about these so called top ranked recruting classes.
