Okay, folks, time for me to be a bit of an asshole.
I know that emotions are running a little hot right now. That’s fine. Debates can get heated. Disagreements are normal.
That said, sock-puppetry is flat out unacceptable. There have been a couple instances of that this week. If you can’t make your arguments without pretending you are more than just you, then just stop now.
This seems to flair up every so often. I don’t require a verified account to comment on this site. Part of it is simply trying to trust everyone. Part is not wanting to be responsible for the information. And a good chunk of it is my own personal dislike for having to register at sites.
That doesn’t make you anonymous. I do have a fair amount of information about each comment based on the wordpress blog set-up. So it doesn’t take much for me to figure out when people are playing games.
If you list a real e-mail address, I will be nice enough to send you an e-mail first — especially if I think you don’t have a real intent to deceive — asking you to knock it off. Of course if you do it without a real-email address, I will make it known who you are and what you are doing.
If you don’t acknowledge or keep playing the game, then I will ban you.
I really have an intense dislike of that behavior and will not waste my time trying to police it.

Chris Davis looked at his phone and saw a text message from his friend Darius Patton, a freshman receiver at Pittsburgh. It was the text Patton received from Todd Graham telling his players he resigned to take the Arizona State job.
Davis and his twin brother Demitrious (Austintown, Ohio/Austintown-Fitch) committed to Pitt during the summer and, like many of Pitt’s 19 commitments, the two remain committed. Included in that group are ESPNU 150 running back Rushel Shell and four-star quarterback Chad Voytik and four-star offensive tackle Adam Bisnowaty.
“We sat down with Rushel Shell and Chad Voytik and Adam Bisnowaty from the class,” Chris Davis Sr., the twins’ father, said, “and we’re gonna stay 100 percent committed. We’re gonna keep this class together and see who comes in.”
I like Pitt and I like mustard, but I don’t like pederson. He is responsible for much of the problem and gets credit for things he shouldn’t. I am just saying. Chancellor needs to wake up as his legacy is getting ruined every month that goes by.
Penn State I’m sure would like Cristobal as several sources are reporting. But strangely nobody at the PG or Trib is reporting PSU’s interest. But Creepy Valley is too toxic, plus if people think Mario and his wife would experience culture shock in Pittsburgh, what would they experience in forlorn State College.
Where there is no culture at all. lol
As far as Smiley’s stmt., that is typical Operating Procedure.
They’re going to wait until after FIU’s bowl game on Tuesday. I would expect a presser on Weds., with the announcement
After this hiring process is over. Smiley has got to be fired, forced to resign, kicked to some other position if the love affair with him is too great, as to not get totally get rid of him.
Hope Pitt is willing to match whatever $ our friends at Ped State have in mind.
Now that I’m getting jazzed about this guy, the mind reels at how pissed I’d be if the Nitters stepped in.

I don’t think the nitwits at the PG or Trib reported anything about Holgy going to WVU until they either signed him or were close to signing him. Zeise was just baiting us by writing we were after him.
Was on the Ped State PG page, they don’t even have a blogger or a blog like Zeise has for Pitt.
I thought I saw something before for them called the Black Shirt Diary with some female report.
Well it’s not on the PG anymore. Kinda strange.
I am starting to get enamored with the thought of yelling something like Jsus Chryst throw the ball…or Jsus Cristobal, you have got to go for that 4th and inches instead of having the qb try a pooch kick.
This should be a great week for Pitt unless smiley has the final sway…i mean say with the Chancellor. Sir Nordenberg is running out of time to fix his legacy. Luckily smiley talked erie insurance guy into donating millions to Pitt. Really Smiley, you did that?
That seems really low for a guy who jumps ship like a liberty avenue lady of the night. Wonder if Fraud Graham has negotiated another low buyout that wouldn’t prevent someone else from calling. He is setting ASU up for the big fall if they allow this to happen.
I wonder what PITT’s severance arrangement was if they would have fired Fraud?
For comparisons, Michigan and RichRod had to paid WVU $4M for his buyout clause (RichRod owed 1.5 and UM owed 2.5)
