In case you had any doubts about how much Pitt is the presumed “Big Dog” in the Big East this season, the game at ‘Nova will not be played in their cozy, on-campus court. Instead it will be at the Wachovia Center.

Villanova announced yesterday that its men’s basketball team will host Pittsburgh on Jan. 29 at the Wachovia Center.

The Wildcats will play five regular-season games at the arena, including games against Texas on Jan. 20, Louisville on Feb. 3, Georgetown on Feb. 17, and Syracuse on March 3.

That’s the Big Monday, 7pm  game on ESPN.

dammit

would have been worth a roadtrip if it was a weekend game. Pitt will still win.

3 SEC (A) = 76.93 76.87 ( 3) 12
4 BIG 12 (A) = 76.86 76.55 ( 4) 12
5 ACC (A) = 75.42 74.95 ( 6) 12
6 BEAST (A) = 75.37 76.01 ( 5) 8

The Pitt vs. Toledo line went from 11.5 as Jimbo stated to 14 real fast. That is a pretty big jump for a Monday.
Toledo is not a real good team this year. If we don’t have too many mistakes (TO, Penalties, etc), we should handle the Rockets pretty easily.
Game is on ESPNU for you DirecTV people out there.

did anyone notice that joepa hit the locker with blue pants, running quite precariously, and then returned with tan pants? hmmmmmm, we’ve all been there.

…According to our sources the renewal of the series will begin in 2009 and tenatively end in 2010, a home and home series… BlackandGoldInsider.com

Okay skeptics, call it intuition, but I really think there might be something to this. However credible the source, the planets are aligning as Joe pa’s declining — if you don’t think PSU is looking toward the future (without their iconic HC) then you’ve never marketed or sold a commodity before.

Steve, you’re right about JoePa’s pants. Here’s a before pic:

If I can find an old pair of black pants I might put some mud on them and put up them up on eBay just for laughs. 😀
