I realize it’s a minor league team outside of Cleveland just trying to use LeBron’s free agency to get people to come to a game, but it is still really sad.

Not too proud to beg

The Lake County Captains are offering all tickets tonight for $6 — in honor of LeBron James’ new uni number.

Even worse. Renamed for tonight, the team is the LeLake LeCounty LeCaptains.

I personally think he will stay…but I’d love to see him as a Knick.

And I’m a bit ashamed to live within 4 miles of LeClassic Park. At least they didn’t offer him a contract like the Crushers did.

Hmm. Given the growing number of PittBlather readers in Lake County, I may need to put a meet-up at Ballantine’s together.

Everybody doing these stunts and YouTube videos are gonna feel really foolish when he goes to the highest bidder.

freebird, I would love him in New York(long time suffering Knicks fan) as well. Have his friends Bosh and Wade come too. I would sell Cablevision, The New Yorker and Penn Station for that trio.

If he does stay in Cleveland then that would be great for Ohio. Not sure who else they would promise to sign in order to keep him happy though.

who cares about lebron…

I want him to get it over with and sign somewhere just so I can stop hearing about it.

Amen Jeff.

College football confrence expansion must have been for non-college fans what LeBron watch is for non-NBA fans.

I am concerned with who the Penguins sign (Hamhuis, etc):
The NBA doesn’t exist in Pittsburgh and as such I care nothing about it. Given that James is from the sports wasteland that is Northeast Ohio, I will laugh at them when James leaves. I grew up near Cleveland. It’s pathetic.
