There won’t be a liveblog for the City Game. I just don’t trust that between the streaming video feed and trying to do a liveblog, I wouldn’t spend half the game rebooting and re-launching. That or my laptop might just fry itself.
Assuming the game ends around 9 tonight, head over to the Syracuse blog, Orange 44. Brian will be hosting a confab of some of the Big East bloggers. Tonight’s line-up consists of:
— Brian Harrison of the aforementioned, Orange 44.
— Sean Keeley, another Syracuse fellow from the recently rennovated Troy Nunes.
— John Radcliff, the man from Mountainlair.
— And myself (though, unless Pitt is killing the Stage Magicians, not until the final whistle).
It will be about all things Big East. From the wrap-up of football season to the emerging Armageddon of Big East basketball.
We will be discussing things and taking questions in a moderated (so keep it clean) chat. Expect plenty of snark, sarcasm, bitterness and maybe even an insight or two.

Litte inside scoop on Shady…one of my coaches for my football team is actually Mccoy’s godfather and when i asked if his decision to stay was final he said not at all and after disscusing a little about the season and where he is im not getting my hopes up of him returning.

Dixon furious over sloppy slow start again…pulls Wannamaker after a stupid travel…he was in 7 seconds.
Look at some point this slowness, poor ft shooting and bad shots has to stop. Someone will take advantage and knock us off.
We love missing dunks because we like drama.

Dixon is going to whip them. We played sloppy at times but we should still win this by double figures. Biggs commits the stupidest fouls, he needs to just let it go.

10% from 3 is not going to get it done…we’d be up 15 or 20 if we were shooting like dog shit. And i don’t want to hear about their “great” defense – there were PLENTY of open looks there….

Even though they look sluggish tonight, this team has a different feel to it than the last few years. They seem to know when to put it into gear and I think they still win by 20+. Does anyone else thinks Dixon lets the playground ball go to far sometimes…..even though they do know how to shift it around when they have to.

Prowler, you may know after tonight…if LU wins, we’re almost definitely going to NC for the tire bowl. If buttgers wins, we’re probably going to the sun bowl, unless we lose on sat…but even then we may still go there. We win on Sat and LU lost today, we’re going to the sun…so you’ll know by 4pm sat.
