Sorry to Be Unread

Filed under: Admin — Chas @ 10:30 pm

Hey, everyone. I know I’ve actually gone a few days without posting. Weird, I know.

The family thing has been a little intense going into the weekend. My 11-week son had to have an aortic angio valvularplasty to open up a constricted pathway to the aortic valve in the heart today. Things went very well, thankfully, but he is spending the night at the hospital. The wife is staying with him. I get to try to reign in the 5-year old while on minimal sleep.

Things should be returning to normal once they come home tomorrow.

Happy 4th everyone.

Happy fourth to you, Dennis and the forum. I wish your son a speedy recovery and hope your year goes well.

Read your post on NEO BABBLE — it must be a relief now that the surgery is over — your son’s prognosis sounds very good to excellent, considering his doctor’s impression of the procedure.

Happy 4th to you and your family. And as usual, thanks so much for the Blog. –Neil

Quasi-house fire, pumper repairs on the lil one: If you are trying to give us some perspective and show that having a crappy football team and an early-exit basketball isn’t all that bad, you’re doing a very good job.

Glad to hear everything went well with the surgery. Thoughts are with you guys.

excuse me, crappy football team, early-exit basketball team AND an ugly logo. Sorry. Left one out.

Again, hope all is well Chas. Take as much time as your need. Dennis is doing a bang-up job.

Best of luck to you and the family. I have an 17-week old myself, and can’t imagine going through that.
Plus, you are doing a great job on the site. That is enough to keep anyone occupied.
