(Or if you find yourself too nervous to watch directly at first Pitt basketball is scheduled at the same time. 12 pm. ACC NE/ESPN3.)

12pm.

Plenty of RSNs (including AT&T Sportsnet Pittsburgh, NBC Sports Washington, NESN, YES, SportsTime Ohio, and multiple regional Fox Sports channels).

Scary story about a problem with a small plane carrying Pitt Cheerleaders and others having to turn back and make an emergency landing yesterday. Everyone is fine, and now at Winston-Salem for the game today.

Pitt isn’t even trying to play this game off as no big deal, or just another game. There’s some obvious tension in the air.

That’s no joke, as Wake Forest ranks 28th in the nation at 215.8 yards a game. The Demon Deacons are coming off a 27-23 victory over No. 14 N.C. State, so beating Pitt wouldn’t even be their biggest upset of the season. But it would be a monumental blow for the Panthers.

Narduzzi has been careful not to talk about the consequences of a loss, which would set up a showdown at Miami in the season finale for a spot in the ACC title game Dec. 1 in Charlotte.

“We haven’t talked about it to this point. Let’s not talk about it now,” Narduzzi said. “It’s like hush-hush. No one says a word.”

This game is probably going to be along the lines of the Duke and UNC games. So, laid back and low stress will not be ways to define this game.

This game will be along the lines of the Duke and UNC game as far as opponent and style of the game. Wake Forest throws the ball. They go up-tempo. And their defense is highly suspect.

Full arsenal of bourbon is on-hand and ready to go.

We are ugly uniform U.

Absolutely terrific performance by Kenny Pickett today!
Despite being absolutely homered on penalties, Pitt is taking care of business on the road!!
Hail to Pitt!!

Absolutely dominant performance on both sides of the ball
So proud of how this team stayed together after a tough start, and is now a force to be reckoned with.
Great job by Narduzzi and his staff.
Bring on Clemson!!

Congrats to the team and coaching staff. Great accomplishment

What a great team effort. Was in the stands for this one! Wake really did a good 1st half job of stopping our ground game. D held them to 10, and we really wore them down so that by mid 3rd Q, we were taking control. Kenny threw the ball like a pro, 23 of 30 for what, 380 yards? The OL was again dominant – we had the ball for 39 min!! WFU was exhausted by Q4! So proud to say, “We are Coastal Champs!”

We need a repeat against Clemscum!

Great win. I liked how the offensive game plan in the first half was to pass, not run so much. If not for a multitude of penalties, we’d have been up at least one TD then.

But Pitt dominated the second half. I think we might just give Clemson all they can handle. We better be able to wear the throwbacks. These uniforms were horrid.

Pitt opens as a 5.5 underdog. Hopefully they meet a uninspired Miami who already has a bowl bid wrapped up and nothing else to play for.

As one who was eager to replace HCPN, let me congratulate him, his staff, and the players for righting the ship, changing course, and winning the Coastal Championship. Bring on Clemson.

H2P!!!

Tech and Jamie lose to lipscomb tonight. Shades of Wagner and bucknel.

How in the world was TCU ranked 18th just for beating CSU Bakersfield (by 5 no less), Oral Robert & Fresno State?

Pitt never got that kind of gift when Dixon was here playing out his crap OOC schedule.

Listening to Pitt/St. Louis. It’s quite a game!

Great win for the Panthers today. Jeff Capel is quite the coach. Fouling their big man French who can’t shoot FT’s then pulling his guys off the line…
