This won’t be the normal open thread intro.
I haven’t had a lot (anything) to say this week about the game today. Mainly due to the fact that I don’t know what to say.
Not in a this team sucks, it always has sucked and always will suck kind of downer. It’s that Pitt right now has a glaring weakness that has not gotten better. That Clemson will completely exploit that weakness. That Clemson is a top team in the country with better players almost across the board to boot. I can’t envision a scenario that leads to a Pitt win.
It’s a frustrating situation, but not necessarily depressing to me. It’s the frustration of the moment (this season) that requires patience for this team to get better in the longer run. Patience that disappears when the ball is snapped. When we want the improvement now. When the waiting for the next season in the past years starts weighing heavily. Even if this is only Narduzzi’s second year, as fans we have the years of promises and hopes before that pushing against the need to be patient.
Seeing any steps backwards in the name of progress is normal, just as reacting negatively to is is normal. A season like this taxes the fans. Those moments where everything looks like it start to happen. Then one part is just so much further behind everywhere else. Seemingly dragging everything down.
I know full well that during the game today, I will be full of snark, sarcasm and even a little bitterness about the way Pitt plays at points. About the coaching. About various things.
That doesn’t change my hopes and even beliefs that this team. This program is heading in the right direction. That this staff can do the job. That some of the players on the field or on the sideline today, will not simply have helped build things but be a part of the things we fans desperately want to see.
When it came down to it Clemson couldn’t convert on 4th and 1.
Great and I mean a great win.
Great win, Need to win these last three games (bowl game included) and keep this going into the off season..maybe crack top 25 to end season. Then next year we can really talk about ACC Championship and rankings for Pitt.
It’s year two and Narduzzi has two big wins.
Some weird aligning going on – the ville jumped to 3 in front of the team they lost to in Clemson at 5. Ohio Fake jumped to 2 and Michigan slipped to 4. The pedos and wvcc at 9 and 10 with Ok State at 13 behind a team they beat in wvcc.
The BIG Joke conference has 4 teams in the top ten with 2 in the top 4. Washington fell below a 2 loss Wisky team after losing for the first time yesterday to USC.
The Ohio Fake Effect was in full blossom yesterday.
#4 Washington lost
#2 Michigan lost
And of course the YUGE upset of the day #2 Clemson lost.
Can’t believe Pedo State is now up to #9 in AP poll.
Same with VT after being #18.
ACC is not getting the same respect as other conf’s and I think that’s a given. The conference is pretty strong from Top to Bottom.

Clemscum beats Michigan in the 2/3 match-up and the ville beats bama in the 4/1 match-up.
To get there, Clemscum & ville must win out, including Clemscum in the ACC championship game. Michigan beats Ohio Fake and then Wisky by 45 in the Big Joke championship game.
People obviously are interested in Pitt and this jackass of a newspaper filled with envious devious creepy Pedo writers and editors do NOT GIVE A DAMN WHAT the people of Pittsburgh and across the nation want.
I can’t tell you how ENRAGED I am, as if we learned nothing else over the last 15 months, we learned how sickening, corrupt and downright evil these Media types are.

Mr. O’Daniel was a 4* OLB in HS that had offers from at least 25 P5 schools including Pitt. He is a JR who is rumored to be declaring for the 2017 NFL draft.
Let’s keep that in mind when the discussion of Conner’s NFL future comes up again.
Your first post was that the “nation gets to see Pitt get embarrassed” and “great PR Barnes.” Your post at 12:10.
That was no simple prediction of getting beat. In fact the opposite was true.
You make Eddie Haskell look like a stand up guy. Instead of giving credit, you itemize the insults you aren’t going to make (but do) and belittle an accomplishment. As the expression goes, with friends like you, Pitt doesn’t need any enemies. SIP? NAH…POS? In every sense.
