Open Letter to Pitt Football Seniors

Filed under: Uncategorized — Panther Rants Collective @ 5:48 pm

Dear Pitt Seniors,

Us Pitt fans would like to take the time to say Thank You for being Pitt Panthers.   Your time here like the previous 2-3 graduating classes weren’t easy considering:

1. The coach that recruited you would be fired at the end of the season

2. Your next coach would be fired over a “domestic dispute”  weeks later.

3. The coach after that would leave town after just one season and would say goodbye via text message.

4. You’d lose your teammates whether it was for transferring out or off field issues.

5. You’d spend three January’s in Birmingham.

In the end, you kept on playing.  One of you took home four awards.  The rest of you helped bring home a bowl win.  You didn’t leave here with nothing, and you did leave your mark with the current players.

Heading into the bowl game, this team was without their top receiver and most of its offensive line.  They’d lose their quarterback at halftime.  Their running back was playing “Ironman Football”.  Despite all that, no one on the team played like they had some excuse.

The backup quarterback came in and drove a team from near its own goaline for a touchdown.  The running back broke a Pitt Great’s rushing record in a bowl game.  The defense helped limit a quarterback who was upset because Pitt wouldn’t offer him as if every other BCS program wanted him.

It doesn’t matter who you played that night.  There was a lot of reasons to love this bowl win.  You left it all out there on field.  The players who all stepped up that we’ll be seeing next year and years to come.  Not sure what the future holds, but we Pitt fans always enjoy the ride.

In closing, we’d like to Thank You for being Pitt Panthers.  Hail to Pitt!

Hear! Hear! Cheers to all of you.

Godspeed on your life journeys, and

Hail to Pitt brothers, you done us proud!!!

Comment by Dan 01.03.14 @ 6:10 pm

well…when you put it into perspective this team especially these seniors have gone through a hope is that HCPC can turn the culture around here and make us proud…even though in some weird way…I’m always proud to support the University of Pittsburgh…and all my friends know it..cuz that’s all I have in my closet!!..h2p!

Comment by Keith 01.03.14 @ 6:41 pm

Very well put these kids were put through the ringer and they all stuck it out til the end I thank them as well. Hail To Pitt

Comment by Togatogatoga 01.03.14 @ 7:01 pm

Well written. Completely agree! Hail To Pitt!

Comment by John in South Carolina 01.03.14 @ 7:21 pm

I too would like to thank every player and coach on this team. The number of wins does not always determine how successful a team is. HCPC is building this program the right way. This game may not have been a BCS bowl but as far as the future is concerned it may be more important.. No player stands above the team and every player needs to be ready to contribute when his number is called. I truly think the foundation is in place for PITT to once again be an elite program. What we as fans can do is to simply fill the seats each week and make Heinz truly a home field advantage. I know we don’ t have the alumni or the money to compete with that team from unhappy valley but as our BB program shows we don’t have to! Build it the right way and success will come.

Comment by T Bear 01.03.14 @ 7:38 pm

Well said. Thank you all.

Comment by Bowling Green Panther 01.03.14 @ 7:40 pm

“What doesn’t kill us, makes us stronger” Thanks for hanging in there guys. Despite everything, you’ll look back at your college years, hopefully with a sense of pride. Your friends, experiences, and the obstacles you overcome, are what define you. We want you to know that all of us are proud of you. Hail to Pitt!

Comment by Justinian 01.03.14 @ 7:43 pm

I’d be proud to work with men as resilient as you all were. Thanks for all the hard work to provide us all with entertainment. Well done you will always be panthers.

Comment by Sam Knocken 01.03.14 @ 7:45 pm

Amen, And Here Is To GREAT THINGS in 014, Lot OF Talent Back, And Love The Schedule!! Circle The IOWA GAME on UR Calendar!! H2P!!

Comment by Eric Rodgers 01.03.14 @ 7:49 pm

You could have omitted numbers 1 thru 5.

No need to keep reminding us of our own follies.

Comment by Emel 01.03.14 @ 7:54 pm

I’m sorry our AD let you down. You deserved better. Your experience might have been hell but you emerged from it a stronger person. I give you my appreciation and utmost respect. H2P!

Comment by TX Panther 01.03.14 @ 8:00 pm

Very well written-thank you seniors you may have saved this program despite every effort of our AD to kill it.

Comment by John 01.03.14 @ 8:03 pm

It appears the school to east, has settled on a new coach, Al Golden. It was reported in the Sporting News that they going to make him an offer and that is going to accept. Joyner & Company have boarded a plane and will be in Florida to meet close the deal on Saturday

Good for them,I think they got a decent guy. Now we need to go to work, so we can kick their butts when we play them in 2016.

Comment by Justinian 01.03.14 @ 8:12 pm

Those follies are part of life. The angst, trials, tribulations, successes and failures, guys stepping up into the face of adversity after their predecessors fall, others simply reaching beyond even their own imaginary highest expectations.

Movies scripted with such fictional story lines have successfully been produced and marketed with success. But the funny thing is, these guys have gone through this in real life!

That’s exactly the opposite of art imitating life. That’s just life. All the more reason to give these guys the credit that they are due, if you presented such a script to a movie producer he’d reject it on the premise that it’s not believable enough.

Hail to Pitt!

Shameful actions by Pitt-affiliated UPMC brings national negative spotlight on the university and its predatory health care monolith:

Tony, we knew Romoff was a megalomaniac but this time he may have gone too far. Where does Nordenberg (a Lawyer) and the Pitt Board stand on this?

Is he like Paterno, too big to be fired?

Taking on the USA is different than taking on Highmark.

The shameful waste of healthcare dollars on this battle will turn the public against them all.

Where is Teddy Roosevelt when you need him?

Comment by gc 01.03.14 @ 8:31 pm

You guys built the foundation, thanks.

Comment by alcofan 01.03.14 @ 8:33 pm

You senior warriors have made us all proud. Good luck in your life’s work.

Comment by gc 01.03.14 @ 8:34 pm

Speaking of movies, it’s funny that no movie has been made of Pitt breaking the ‘color’ barrier in the 1956 Sugar Bowl game against Ga Tech. With Bobby Grier.

Seems to me the Hollywood peeps would have by now.

Comment by Emel 01.03.14 @ 8:38 pm

Not an Oklahoma State Aggie fan, however Mizzou should lose by default….just for wearing those hideous uni’s.

How on Earth did any HC or AD sign off on those things ?

Almost as bad as the Stillers ‘bumblebee’ striped things.

Comment by Emel 01.03.14 @ 8:42 pm

First, I want to say that was really well written and I agree completely. In response to the salon article…holy crap! That was mentioned about a week ago on one of our threads. I think Josh Eidelson reads this blog.

OSU Clemson, might as well be the NFL

Comment by steve1 01.03.14 @ 9:15 pm

Congrats to our Seniors, most of which.. one Dave Wannstedt recruited. And of whom Pitt’s most decorated player EVER, Aaron Donald was it’s chief contributor. Thanks Seniors for sticking with PITT when the idiots unceremoniously dumped our leader.

And congrats to former Panther and DW recruit, Shady McCoy for leading the NFL in rushing with 1,607 yards almost 300 more than the next NFL rusher.

H2P !
VeV !

Comment by Emel 01.03.14 @ 9:43 pm

Maybe Clemson..steve..should be up 28-9

Comment by Emel 01.03.14 @ 9:45 pm

That lob interception, when the Clemson quarterback had the first down right in front of him, was really bonehead play. It negated a really impressive drive.

Comment by Justinian 01.03.14 @ 9:51 pm

Another excellent bowl game. Unusually great match-ups this year.

Boy it must be great to have a top ten football team.

Comment by gc 01.03.14 @ 9:52 pm

Pat Amara ?? ?@_PatLiveFrom215 1h
We just won 21-19 , Had 2 interceptions 3 pass deflections and 1 tackle , OD All American Champions ???????????? #Pitt #H2P

Pitt commit Pat Amara just played in an all-star; game; I assume it was him who had 2 INTs — not sure

Comment by wbb 01.03.14 @ 10:03 pm

Matt Millen rooting for Ohio State. Incompetent football management, incompetent analysis.

Comment by gc 01.03.14 @ 10:09 pm

Went to Bowl game.. Hail to PITT. . The Future is Bright

Comment by 63 Team 01.03.14 @ 10:13 pm

@ gc….yea I was wondering who in the booth was making all the pro-Ohio Fake comments.

Cause I missed the beginning of the game, so they go to the booth in the 2nd Q. and low and behold it’s our favorite worst NFL GM ever, Ped Stater and Big Joker Matt (looks like an old man) Millen.

Can’t stand Suburban Urban either, hope Clemson doesn’t choke in the 2nd half. Their defense is just leaving Ohio Fake WR’s open all over the field.

Comment by Emel 01.03.14 @ 10:24 pm

Yep Justinian.

Boyd had the 1rst down easy by running and might have gotten the TD.

Clemson doing everything to give this game away to the Ohio Fakers.

Comment by Emel 01.03.14 @ 10:27 pm

Yeah Emel it makes me sick. All my wife’s relatives in Ohio are Buckeye fans.

Comment by Justinian 01.03.14 @ 10:35 pm

Emel, glad it is not just me that hates that snake Meyer. He should have been flagged for excessive celebration. No class.

Had to leave Florida for his health. Left them in shambles.

Extorted 7+ million from OSU.

Did you see when Millen said great coverage by Reeves, sure looked like interference to me.

Then he agrees with Meyer that there was no roughing after the head shot out of bounds and Meyer big times the ref. What jerks.

Comment by gc 01.03.14 @ 10:35 pm

Stupid play by Boyd. Millen says great run by Buckeye qb, when two linemen are held.

Still very entertaining, loads of talent on both sides.

Comment by gc 01.03.14 @ 10:38 pm

Justinian just be glad you don’t live in NE Ohio.

On the other hand, they do have the Browns

Comment by wbb 01.03.14 @ 10:40 pm

I was Tyler Palko proud of this team for the way they played the bowl game..If we continue to play with that level of fight we are going to be headed in the right direction.

Comment by HbgFrank 01.03.14 @ 10:41 pm

wbb, Browns fire first year coach, it doesn’t get any worse or better than that. Depending on your perspective. Sheard doing well though.

Comment by gc 01.03.14 @ 10:48 pm

Hollins, Schlieper and Brown’s claim to fame ” we got to block AD in practice for four years and lived to tell about it” Although no one has heard from Brown since mid season.

Comment by gc 01.03.14 @ 10:51 pm

Miami is in our division, Golden brought them some stability. So there is reason to be somewhat happy if he takes the Ped St. job. Not that Miami needs stability for success…

This senior class had a tough run. I give them a ton of credit for hanging in. Results were a mixed bag, but not all on the players for sure.

Watching the Orange Bowl. OSU is not a great offense, but Clemson D making them look like one. No wonder FSU torched them. They are athletic but play…what’s the word…dumb.

Comment by Iron Duke 01.03.14 @ 11:00 pm

Iron Duke, pass coverage is pathetic, no wonder FSU torched them. Got to question the coaching.

Comment by gc 01.03.14 @ 11:04 pm

Sammy Watkins is the real deal. So far Buckeye QB better on his feet than Taj Boyd. Fun game.

Comment by gc 01.03.14 @ 11:15 pm

Seniors, thanks for your determination to stick with Pitt through thick and thin. I hope you find success in whatever path your life takes you. HTP!

Comment by Annie 01.03.14 @ 11:20 pm

Lucky we didn’t play Clemson this year. We need more and better players to compete with the best of the ACC.

Like to see Watkins in a Steelers uni.

Comment by gc 01.03.14 @ 11:28 pm

On your poor boy the words of one of ex-Pres’s…..I feel your pain.

Comment by Emel 01.03.14 @ 11:35 pm

yep gc, that ohio fake player led with his helmet on that hit out of bounds and got away with it.

They’ve been cheapshotting Clemson players on the sidelines all night. Not a peep from the jerk in the booth that was coached by the pedo in prison.

Comment by Emel 01.03.14 @ 11:39 pm

Our pass coverage is better than Clemson’s, never seen so many totally blown plays in one game. LOL

Line making the QB pay though.

Comment by gc 01.03.14 @ 11:39 pm

^^ Oh you poor….

Comment by Emel 01.03.14 @ 11:40 pm

Comment by panther94 01.03.14 @ 11:40 pm

Clemson’s poor pass defense, (just running away from WR’s) has kept Ohio Fake in this game. Should be a rout !

Comment by Emel 01.03.14 @ 11:41 pm

Did that idiot announcer just say….the defenses have been giving it their all.

Yep…Clemson has 539 yds of offense and the Fakers have 405.

Just say both defense’s have been ‘lit up’.

Comment by Emel 01.03.14 @ 11:46 pm

Needed that 2.

Comment by panther94 01.03.14 @ 11:58 pm

Another coaching penalty.

Comment by panther94 01.04.14 @ 12:10 am

Just a different level of coaching, talent, support. If that Matt Millen says a tired buccaroo i may vomit. He sounds like a 8th grade announcer.

Comment by Upittbaseball 01.04.14 @ 12:18 am

Dabo has been very good for Clemson!

Comment by Upittbaseball 01.04.14 @ 12:19 am

Ohio Fake lucky they lost to MIch State, cause Florida State would have beat them 55-10.

Comment by Emel 01.04.14 @ 12:22 am

@ upitt
Don’t understand why ESPN used these 2 idiot announcers that they didn’t use ALL season for this game.

Comment by Emel 01.04.14 @ 12:23 am

Even the espn girlie announcer Pam, what’s her name have been better. Oy Vey ~

did I just say that ,…..

Comment by Emel 01.04.14 @ 12:24 am

Couple of these schools real excited about back to back ….11 win seasons. PITT did back to back to back 11 win seasons over 30 years ago.

Boy did this University drop the ball. As we all know.

Comment by Emel 01.04.14 @ 12:27 am

Final thought on this game Tyler Boyd is better than anyone on Ohio Fakes offense.

Aaron Donald is better than anyone on Ohio Fakes defense.

Why did we finish 7-6 ?

Comment by Emel 01.04.14 @ 12:29 am

Great win for the ACC.

After watching this game and the end of OSU-Mizzou, I am not sure what pass interference is anymore.

In our bowl our guy gets called without touching the opponent. In these two games mugging was ok.

Millen, once an ass always an ass.

Did you like the way he tried to add controversy at the end. He might have been right but the next play had been run and the game was over.

Well, I am a tired buckaroo, good night sirs LMAO

Let’s win tomorrow, Hail to Pitt

Comment by gc 01.04.14 @ 12:31 am

Supporting cast, Emel.

Comment by panther94 01.04.14 @ 12:32 am

lol panther94…apparently we need a kid called ‘Philly’.

Looking at the stats of this game. Clemson did everything to keep Ohio fake in this game. Or the refs did. 19 penalties for 163 yards called on Clemson.

Many a blown coverage in the secondary by Clemson.

Boyd played great, almost accounted for 500 yards by himself. 370 passing, 120 rushing. 6 TD’s

Comment by Emel 01.04.14 @ 12:59 am

Strong will be named UT Coach in morning. Strong owns Florida and couple that with the kids here in Texas and the money and you can write it down they will win a NCAA within 3 years. Great hire.

Comment by Upittbaseball 01.04.14 @ 1:02 am

And Clemson redeemed themselves for losing to Ohio Fake in the Gator Bowl while getting sucker punched by Woody ‘Psycho’ Hayes.

I think Woody and JoePedo were buds.

Comment by Emel 01.04.14 @ 1:03 am

Emel, as long as no Doris Burk LOL

Comment by Upittbaseball 01.04.14 @ 1:03 am

That’s good for Pitt, don’t we play L-ville next year.

Anyway they’ll have a tough time replacing Charlie.
Unless they bring Motorcycle Bobby back ! lol

Comment by Emel 01.04.14 @ 1:05 am

Watching the game I noticed a lot of the Ohio Fake fans were wearing they’re baseball caps backward.

Aaaaaaa….i know news travels slow, but someone needs to inform them, that’s passe.

Comment by Emel 01.04.14 @ 1:08 am

Would also like to thank this senior class. Especially Aaron Donald and Devin Street, who through everything not only performed at such a high level, but continued to bleed blue and gold, and also bought in and supported Paul Chryst. Glad I got to see these two young men grow and accomplish some really great things.

Ugghh, as far as Golden to Pedo St goes. Was really hoping it was going to be Munchak or Schiano. I think Golden is a pretty good coach and outstanding recruiter. Also, if successful he is never leaving. He wears a tie for God sakes, like his hero!

Looking forward to some Pitt hoops tomorrow at noon…

Hail to Pitt!

Comment by Pap76 01.04.14 @ 1:38 am

Franklin to PSU will happen by Sun night in my opinion.

Comment by Upittbaseball 01.04.14 @ 1:45 am

Either way, those lucky, arrogant, sons of bitches are going to get themselves a good coach.

Where’s the Karma..what happened there was a disgrace. We’ve been mired in mediocrity for 30+ yrs. Most of my life, unfortunately.

Letting Jackie Sherril leave was a sin, but I think covering up a pedophile is a bit worse!!!!

Comment by Pap76 01.04.14 @ 1:56 am

a couple of thoughts:

– PSU has fan support and the $$ to afford just about any coach that will accept a job offer from them

– the alleged best program in the NCAA apparently is having trouble replacing its coach … and if Charlie Strong rejects its offer (as now rumored), that will be at least 3 rejections.

This just proves that the firing of the current coach is just a small part of the process, and the easiest part (unless you’re Steve Pedersen or Oliver Luck). I would like to think there are some lessons learned here but our AD didn’t seem to do so from a previous experience so I wouldn’t bet on it again.

Comment by wbb 01.04.14 @ 8:23 am

Golden handles QBs like Joepa. He will mess up Hackenberg.

I’ll take PC!

Comment by Notrocketscience 01.04.14 @ 8:45 am

Years ago during a pregame brunch at the Fitzgerald Fieldhouse assistant Steve Roper stopped by our table to say hello. When asked if Jonny Majors was going back to Tennessee, he replied, “I hope not. Here at Pitt when we lose a game, the fans pat us on the back and tell us, we’ll get them next time, at Tennessee they want to hang you.” Johnny Majors and Jackie Sherrill were southern boys and they both wanted to go back to the south. Sherrill walked away from Pitt and a potential National Championship. Going to Texas A&M turned out to be a bad career move for him. Although he had some success, he never got to that level again.

Comment by Justinian 01.04.14 @ 8:50 am

Notrocketscience, I agree with you about Paul Chryst, I think he’s a good solid coach. I also think Steve Pederson really set us back when he fired Dave Wannestedt. With the season he had two years before and with the recruiting class we had coming in I would have given him at least one more year. The two Pederson hires that followed set the university back 3 years. I’m fine with Penn State hiring Golden, he’s a good solid coach, but I think Paul Chryst is better with quarterbacks and I don’t fear him like I do Foster.

Comment by Justinian 01.04.14 @ 9:00 am

I meant to say I would prefer to see Al Golden at Penn State over James Franklin.

Comment by Justinian 01.04.14 @ 9:16 am

Hi from Columbus. What an awesome finish to the season. Pitt wins bowl, Suckeyes lose. Can’t wait to read the Sunday letters to the ed in the Dispatch.

Comment by OHowIHateOhioState 01.04.14 @ 9:28 am

I’ve been reading the Plain Dealer and they want the DC (Fickel)fired … sound familiar! And they aren’t being very kind to the great Urban either.

I also noticed that to put some of these Buck fans in their place, someone wrote just how dominant FSU was AT Clemson.

Comment by wbb 01.04.14 @ 9:43 am

Best from the Columbus Dispatch so far: The cost of an Orange Bowl ticket… Who cares. Watching “Script Ohio”…. Who gives a flying f%$#. Having the most obnoxious fan base in sports silenced…. Always priceless.

Comment by OHowIHateOhioState 01.04.14 @ 9:58 am

Emel, 19 penalties, 163 yards, no wonder Millen commended the refs for the great job they did, what a putz.

Sammy Watkins is what I hope Boyd looks like next year, what a player.

Seemed like the OSU QB was a bit of a drama queen, sure wanted everyone to know how wounded he was.

Millen sure bought the story line.

Very satisfying to see Meyer go down, with all that talent.

Clemson needs a new D-backs coach.

Chryst better give Engram a raise and a new title.

Bowl games have been very competitive, still like to see a playoff. This year it needed to be 16 teams. Clemson deserved in.

An FSU win on Monday sure would help the ACC profile. A loss will will increase meth production in the SouthEast.

Comment by gc 01.04.14 @ 10:05 am

Good one!

Comment by wbb 01.04.14 @ 10:06 am

gc, what worries me the most about a new PSU coach is losing Engram …. even though his wife is from Pgh

Comment by wbb 01.04.14 @ 10:07 am

Worst case scenario, Golden hired, Bradley reinstated, Engram joins them.

Chryst needs to find his “Slice”

Comment by gc 01.04.14 @ 10:08 am

BTW, just how great is Charlie Strong? He is offered $25M for 5 years (reportedly) at a great FB program, but wants to talk to his current AD and school prez before accepting offer … the people who gave him his 1st HC job.

I think it’s classy

Comment by wbb 01.04.14 @ 10:14 am

Looking for a counter offer?

Comment by gc 01.04.14 @ 10:17 am

Who knows? Just like the fact that he didn’t just bolt without an audience with his current employers

Comment by wbb 01.04.14 @ 10:53 am

@ wbb Maybe he looking for an excuse to stay at L-ville. Perhaps he doesn’t want all the pressure that goes along with being HC at Texas.

L-Ville is a few notches below on the pressure meter. Also the Big 12 has some really strong programs. In the ACC you have FSU & Clemson and a lot of mediocrity after that.

Good ole Charlie might see things being easier at Louisville.

Comment by Emel 01.04.14 @ 11:26 am

@ gc….yea can you believe 19 penalties, don’t think I can remember ever seeing 20 penalties called on one team in any game.

Clemson outgained Ohio Fake by nearly 200 yards as well. So take the penalties and the Clemson blown coverages in the 2nd quarter alone, plus the little pick Boyd threw in the 2nd Q, and Ohio Fake was damn lucky they didn’t get blown out !

Millen could have choked on that all nite.
Would have sat thru the whole game of a blowout just to see that ! What a schmuck !

Comment by Emel 01.04.14 @ 11:30 am

web…if mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy. Engram stays.

Congrats seniors…I hope to see you all on Sundays in the near future. (Mondays & Thursdays too)

Comment by Jackagain 01.04.14 @ 4:00 pm

Congratulations and thank you to the seniors. Good luck with your futures and we look forward to seeing you at Heinz Field as fans in the future.

Comment by Joe Lawrence 01.05.14 @ 9:59 am

Golden was all set to sign until Munchak got canned. Now PSU must at lest go through the motions of an interview and act like they gave Munchak a chance so he doesn’t cause political problems for Golden. Playing interview games can be problematic when timelines come out and they eventually will.

Saban was just cemented to stay at Texas for a long while because his team just took a beating at the hands of a big12 team. The best coaches biggest fear is another coach in his conference being better. Saban does not have that problem in the SEC and he knows it, so he doesn’t go anywhere. This is where I see a problem for Strong in the big12. Strong will not be the best coach in his conference and as such will struggle. If Strong was smart, he would stick to the ACC where he would have an opportunity to be the best coach in his conference and dominate the landscape. I say this about the recruits all the time. Do your homework. I also think Saban will be in a hurt of trouble over the next few seasons as it will be the first time in four years a qb other than McCarron leads that team. That could be a problem for Foster.

Pitt needs to finish their recruiting class strong. I expect one Florida Recruit(Gordon) and hopefully Jennings to round out the class. It would put Pitt around a 35 ranking which is what we should expect given the results on the field. Build a strong foundation and improve each year.

Thanks to all the Seniors who left it on the field. Be productive in life and while you are at it, there are plenty of high school football coaching positions available in Florida. A good athletic department helps these kids with degrees finding opportunities out there if they want to pursue coaching.

Comment by dhuffdaddy 01.05.14 @ 1:13 pm

Tony in Houston,

I work for UPMC’s big competitor. Nordenberg does not run UPMC. At any rate, a discussion about UPMC or Highmark doesn’t really belong here.

I know Emel and OhowIHateOhioState despise the sanctimonious Suckeyes. I grew up in Northeast Ohio hearing about how great OSU was and how great the big Two Little Eight was and how great the OSU Michigan game was.

At that time, Pitt vs. Penn State was the far superior rivalry, but because neither school belonged to a conference at the time it did not get the same level of national coverage.

My dad despised Woody Hayes. He rooted for Michigan to beat OSU.

Golden would be better served to stay in Miami. South Florida is a better place to live than Crappy Valley.

Comment by Penguins Fan 01.05.14 @ 4:25 pm

4 star receiver Adonis Jennings makes his commitment tonight in the Semper Fi all star game he down to Pitt and Iowa with Putt as heavy favorite .

Comment by Togatogatoga 01.05.14 @ 8:11 pm

He hasn’t played much so far, if at all during first half. There are some nice players still un-committed. Hopefully we get a commit and he does some recruiting. Cosentino playing and was average at best in first half.

He just isn’t comfortable in the passing game or in the pocket yet. He does have a strong arm though.

Next hour should be telling…..
