You bet I’m not ranking Pitt. They haven’t shown they can handle the success of being ranked in the BlogPoll. Granted there is no rational reason not to rank them. Just irrational fear on my part.
UNC took the biggest leap. I actually like the way they are playing a lot. Butch Davis has gotten results quickly. I just get hesitant to trust them with all of their injuries and an erratic pass defense.
Great win, but time to move forward which is what the teams like Florida, Texas, and USC due after a nice win.

how many games do you guys think notre dame has to lose before the gator bowl would extend an invite to an actual big east team?
I can’t wait for the day when everyone from the chancelor down to all of us monday (sunday) morning quarterbacks gets pissed when it’s even in question that we might fall out of the top 25. I want to be competing for a BCS game each year. I want to CONSISTENTLY beat up on all of the teams that we’re supposed to.
We have 3 HUGE games left. With a little help, I think that if we can win 2 of them, we will be on that path. The Steelers and Pens aren’t playing too well right now, and I think some casual Pittsburgh fans are starting to notice that Pitt football is in a great position now. The next two games are on national tv, we can do wonders for this program if we win them.
