I guess I have some fans on here that missed me the last month. I'll try to post more regualrly for the morons that didn't go to the game or really don't know anything about the program to take shots at.

How about Dorian Bell just committed to Ohio State...this is a bit problematic...I know it's early but I hope Dave can close on another decent class.

I think players should be allowed to be traded in college. We have too many running backs. How nice would it be to trade Kevin Collier (just using him as an example. I like him just as much as I like the other backups) for somebodies extra offensive linemen.

They say STUDENT-athlete, but we all know its athletes with poor gpa's.

There are 10,000 D-1 football players, most of whom will go pro in something other than sports, right Maurice Clarett?

Jamie H. is right, LSH looked impressive as well.

There is no point in benching LSH, who is a senior who has good speed and very good vision, and has been in the offense for years now.

Harris did make big plays, but against a watered down, vanilla defense missing several of its starters.

does nobody remember the run Stephens-Howling had on saturday? That was equally impressive to anything Harris did.

Peter don't rip on Stuart for making a valid point. your sarcasm sounds pathetic. Harris is a freshman who has never played a college game. LSH is a senior who has made some big plays against Big East competition over the years. Go ahead and rip Stuart (foolishly) but the coaching staff agrees with him.

Stuart,

I had no clue you were involved with developing Pitt's depth chart, keep up the great work big guy.

I really enjoy your 1000 or so posts per sporting event!

Your insight and analysis are just great and thought provoking!

Chas, pencil me in as one who would move Harris up to second string prior to training camp. I like what LSH has done for us, his talents and what he brings - but it's not the same package as what Harris presents in the lineup.

Collier is slipping down the chart IMO.

I sat in the corner where Harris had his TD run and was just amazed at how quick he was for a RB that size. The program listed him at 190 (the weight he came in with) but it was very evident he weights much more than that. Two other sources listed him at 225 and 217 - either way he's put on about 30 lbs of muscle under Buddy, without losing any speed apparently.
